Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) in Kompally, Hyderabad

When a child becomes critically ill, families need both advanced clinical care and someone who will explain what's happening in plain language. Dr. Suchit Jogu is a DrNB-certified Pediatric Intensivist practicing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at KIMS Cuddles, Kompally, treating children aged 0–18 with life-threatening and complex conditions.

PICU Clinical Scope

Clinical scope in the PICU includes management of septic shock and multi-organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), advanced respiratory support ranging from high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation to mechanical ventilation, HFOV, and ECMO for refractory failure, renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for kidney and multi-organ failure, and coordinated post-operative and post-transplant critical care in partnership with pediatric surgeons, cardiologists, and nephrologists.

Dr. Jogu completed his post-doctoral (DrNB) training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Banjara Hills, and has been recognized nationally for research and presentations in pediatric delirium outcomes and mechanical ventilation, including awards at Pedicriticon 2025 and RESPICON 2025.

Second Opinions

Families are kept informed at every stage of a PICU admission — from initial stabilization through ongoing treatment decisions — and are welcome to seek a second opinion for a child already in intensive care, whether at KIMS Cuddles or elsewhere in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, or Medchal.

When to Seek Emergency Care

If your child is showing signs of a medical emergency — severe difficulty breathing, blue or grey lips, unresponsiveness, a seizure, or uncontrolled bleeding — go to the nearest emergency department immediately rather than waiting for a scheduled consultation.

For PICU consultations or second opinions, contact KIMS Cuddles, Kompally at 040-44112345 or +91 88016 64272.
